爽奏の家 / Sousou House

鉄骨造5階建てビルの最上階を住空間にフルリノベーションした。採光と通風は北側と東側からしか確保できないという環境から、開口部に沿ってL型に家族が滞在できる空間をつくり、その両端に寝室と個室を配置した。全体プランでは水廻り空間を中央コアスペースにまとめ、クロゼットや書斎を通路として利用することができる回遊性のある空間としている。ダイニングと寝室の間には、共同設計者考案の換気窓付3枚障子を設置し、住環境の通気性について生活後も検討できるようにしている。ゆったりとしたL型プランで風通しの良い住空間になっている。

The top floor of the five-story steel-framed building has been fully renovated into living space. Since natural light and ventilation could only be secured mainly from the north and east sides, the space where the family can stay is arranged in an L shape along the opening, with the bedrooms and private rooms at either end. The overall plan centers the bathroom space in a central core space, and the closet and study are used as passageways to create an easy-to-move-around space. Between the dining room and bedroom, three shoji screens with ventilation windows, devised by the co-designer, were installed, allowing the breathability of the living environment to be examined even after living in the house.　The spacious L-shaped plan creates an airy living space.
