気がつけばゴールデンウィークですが、
実は春休みに学生と一緒にシドニーへ建築研修に行きました。
最新のSANAAのニュー・サウル・ウェールズ州立美術館、
ランドマークのオペラハウスなど近現代建築が点在するシドニー。
ロックス地区などの古い街並みも好みでしたが、
ゴシックリバイバルのセント・メアリー大聖堂の雰囲気が一番グッときました。
想像していたよりもコンパクトな都市で、近現代が混在していながらも緑地も多く美しい都市でした。

If you notice, it's Golden Week,
Actually during spring break, I went to Sydney with my students for architectural travel.
Latest Art Gallery of New Saul Wales design by SANAA,
A Sydney city dotted with modern architecture, such as the landmark Opera House.
I also liked old townscapes such as the Rocks district,
The atmosphere of St. Mary's Cathedral of Gothic Revival was the best.
The city is smaller than I imagined,
It was a beautiful city with a lot of green spaces, even though it was a mixture of modern and modern times.
